Who are we?
The DuPage Center for Spiritual Living (DCSL or the Center) is a member of a global organization called Centers for Spiritual Living with over 500 centers worldwide. Dr. Ernest Holmes founded the organization in the early 20th century. He believed there was a thread of truth running through every great religion and philosophy, and it was his desire to pluck out that thread, leaving behind all superstition, dogma, and religious opinion. He took that thread and created principles called the “Science of Mind,” these are the principles and beliefs we continue to teach and live today.

In the unending circle of life, the perfection of creation is always creating anew and I am one with this creation and newness.
I know that no matter whathappened years ago, months ago, week ago, days ago, and even minutes ago - it has served its purpose and it is done.
With each new day, I am free to choose the thoughts that create my experiences regardless of the things, people, and events that enter my life path today.
I am grateful for the opportunity to make choices about what I will see, hear, think, and feel about everything in the experience of life I have today.
I am excited to approach this day with compassion, forgiveness, and the wonder and awe of the child that is at the core of my being.
I release this into the action of the Law which always acts on that which I send forth from my thoughts. My thoughts are things and I choose good ones.
And so it is ... and so it shall be!

On Our Leadership Team
LIFE IS A BLESSING
Life, God, the Divine is in this place. Spirit fills me, surrounds me and uplifts me. I am blessed by Spirit's love, sustained by its peace, and I evolve admidst its wisdom.
My Source blesses me to the degree that I open to and accept the love and grace at the heart of our union. I revere our very oneness and remain vigilant in the sacredness of receiving and giving blessing.
I know that every situation in my experience, every relationship and even every perceived challenge is an opportunity to remember, to embrace and to celebrate the sacred within me, around me and in my world. As I am enriched by the love and grace at the heart of Life's blessing me, I choose to become an instrument of divine blessing in my world. I allow all perceived obstruction to joy, to peace and to love to fall away naturally.
I mindfully and deliberately bless everyone and everything including my mind, my body, my experience, my relationships and the world around me.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude and joy that I release these words to the Law of Life knowing that as Life blesses me, I, in turn, pass through the portal of blessing so that the gift extends to my world. Life is a precious gift, a sacred blessing. I accept it; I share it; I give thanks for it. And so it is.
